Video Professor CD Review

This little blog is dedicated to taking a closer look at the Video Professor CD products. Video Professor is a direct-to-consumer company that has been around for a long time, over twenty years to be exact. They are located in Lakewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.

They specialize mostly in software tutorials in a video format that they sell on CDs (they did start out with VHS tapes). Nowadays, they also offer videos on how to buy and sell on eBay®, on how to protect yourself Online form viruses, hackers and identity theft and even a product on how to invest Online.

I have access to most of the Video Professor CD video tutorials, and I will be doing a brief overview of these CDs in the coming months.

Here are some of the titles they have:

• Learn Microsoft® Word
• Learn Excel®
• Learn Microsoft® PowerPoint®
• Learn Microsoft® Outlook®
• Learn Windows Vista™
• Learn Adobe® Photoshop® CS2 Essentials (my favorite one so far)

Video Professor also has tutorials that have nothing to do with software. Some of these are ‘Investing Online’, ‘Protect Yourself Online’ and ‘Learn Digital Photography’ just to mention a few.

The cool things is that if you go to their website and look at any of the products pages, you will see a link to a short clip from the given tutorial, which is great in determining whether or not you should purchase the product. You can take a look at the list of products they have here.

Then, form each page you get to go to the order page and buy the product. However, if you should decide that the Video Professor CD is not as appealing and you would rather learn online you can do that too.
