This is a blog dedicated to reviews on video professor software and other video tutorial products of the Colorado-based Video Professor, Inc.

They have about 50+ products ranging from Microsoft Window tutorials to how to sell on eBay. The videos are always good quality and very well done in terms of the information they provide. I have only had a chance to look at a few of these courses, but if they are any indication, all of their products are really pretty decent.

The one that I have watched trough-and-through is the Learn Adobe® Photoshop® CS2 product, and I was thoroughly impressed. I first started working with Photoshop when it was in version 4, so I thought I had it figured it out. Well, it turns out that nothing could be further from the truth. I learned a lot, even things I never knew existed.

There are a lot of video tutorials out there these days, especially that bandwidth is a lot cheaper than it has ever been. They are great if you are looking for something specific, like a given function in Excel® or how to use brushed in Photoshop. However, there are no comprehensive tutorials out there. Video Professor walks you through everything that piece software has to offer step by step. This way you get a good overview of the program is capable of. This is a lot better, I think, than getting all the pieces and having to put them together to form a functional whole.
