Video Professor Starter Pack

The Video Professor starter pack has video tutorials on the Windows® operating system, a basic tutorial on the Internet, on the popular email client Outlook® and Microsoft® Word®. It will also comes with two bonus CDs that I can only assume are surprise bonuses.

The great thing is that you can get all of these for a very reasonable price of 29.99 and it can be purchased on Amazon here.

The page on Amazon says that you have to have Windows 95/98/ME/XP, but I know for a fact that you can get away with 2000 and Vista™ as well since Video Professor sells CD products that will play back on anything regardless of the operating system.

There are also quite a few upset reviews claiming that the Video Professor’s business is scam, because they got charged for things they didn’t want. I have looked into it and you can read my findings here under Video Professor a Scam? Basically, they have a subscription model where you get to opt out and not get charged if you do it within 10 days. If you don’t, they will charge your credit card every month and you will receive new selections every month until you opt out. It seems to me, based on the testimonials, that these people fell through the cracks and had a hard time getting their money back. Video Professor has been in business for over twenty years. It is my understanding that they have been selling their products for much of this time. If they had been trying to make money through a scam, they would have been shut down a long time ago.

But the subscription does not apply to you with the starter pack. This product represents a one-off purchase. As far as I know, you do not go on any subscription list and the price is hard to beat for the amount of good info and tutorials you get. If you have any doubts, buy this pack, and make up your mind for yourself.
